The goal of this 19,370 square foot Emergency Room Department renovation was to minimize interruption/disruption to the department, while increasing hospital capacity by 31 beds, and constructing specialized rooms for decontamination, contagious/infectious diseases, and cases of sexual assault. The $2.8 million project involved a nurse’s station, waiting room and greeter’s station, fast-track exam room, sexual assault trauma center, fast-track nurses station team center, medical room, physicians work station, and staff break room.
