"I
have known Bob and Marla Howard for more than 20 years and have worked
with Rainbow Construction on a number of projects, including Naftzger
Park. Naftzger was a challenging project because of all the site debris
inevitably left over from surrounding buildings that had been demolished.
You always find surprises with that type of site, but Rainbow handled
them effectively and efficiently. The project also involved numerous public
and private parties, all of whom had to be kept happy. Rainbow has always
had a good reputation for the quality of their work and Naftzger was no
exception. The project went smoothly, was completed on time and everyone
was happy with the finished product."

and Recreation (retired)

Naftzger Park was built in 1979 as part
of the city of Wichita's downtown revitalization efforts. Visually attractive,
the park includes a closed-loop water circulation system for the pond
and waterfall, brick walks, slate-roofed gazebo, fountains, and unique
wrought iron fencing from New Orleans. |
