LOCATION: 525 N. MAIN, 5TH FLOOR WICHITA, KS    TYPE OF PROJECT: RENOVATION     PROJECT SIZE: 13,500 SQ. FT.    COMPLETION DATE: SEPTEMBER 2003      ARCHITECT: McCLUGGAGE VAN SICKLE & PERRY CORP.
	This project involved the demolition of the last remaining jail space in the Sedgwick County Courthouse and the creation of three impressive courtrooms, as well as support facilities and holding cells, to meet Sedgwick County's need for additional court space. Durable finishes such as granite and selected hardwoods, including birch and Honduran mahogany, were installed for their ability to withstand an enormous amount of traffic and wear, while maintaining their attractive appearance over many years. Although the finished product is both visually impressive and durable, Rainbow completed the project at $500,000 under the County's budget for this work.
